Artist's Note: This painting is of my dear friend Kris Wilson. He managed the Bell and the TO ranches in New Mexico. A top notch manager, a top cowboy too. The crew had made a big gather the day before and put the cattle in a smaller trap. We were able to gather and work the herd at day light. Kris is riding one of his good mounts, "Train".
