Elizabeth Sage

“There is magic everywhere you look, if you only will open your senses to feel it…”

Elizabeth grew up on a working ranch in northern California where training horses and traveling to horse shows and rodeos served as inspiration for her artistic passion: “When I wasn’t riding, I was drawing and painting the Western lifestyle that I lived.”

After working in corporate graphic design for over 20 years, Elizabeth left the corporate office to answer the lifelong call to create powerful imagery and stories on canvas. “Though traditional in concept, I’ve found a balance… in opposition. Loose and flowing brushstrokes integrated with strong detail, (and) dramatic lighting and shadow. My concepts reflect what intrigues me most (and are) an up close and personal experience of a moment captured in time.”
