Collection: Wayne Baize
Wayne grew up on a stock farm in Stamford, Texas, where he learned the value of a good horse. Then, as he developed his artistic abilities, he realized that he could make a living depicting his favorite subject matter: the life of the contemporary cowboy and his animals.
In 1995, Wayne was invited to join the Cowboy Artists of America and he continues to carry out their mission to “authentically preserve and perpetuate the culture of western life in fine art.”
His work has won numerous awards, including silver and gold medals and Best Portrayal of a Cowboy Subject at CA Annual Shows, has been the Signature Artist of America’s Horse in Art, and been featured in major magazines such as Western Horseman, The Quarter Horse Journal, and Texas Monthly.
