Jack Sorenson


A naturally gifted artist since childhood, Jack began painting full-time in 1974; that year he sold out his first ever one-man show. After that, he committed himself to a career in art. 

Jack’s paintings have appeared on more than eighty magazine covers, including Western Horseman, The Cattleman, America's Horse, and The Quarter Horse Journal.  His Leanin’ Tree Christmas greeting cards – especially those of Cowboy Santa – have sold in the millions.

Jack feels blessed to make his living painting cowboys and the scenes he loves.  He has often said, "I'm in exactly at the right place at exactly the right time, doing exactly what God wants me to do.  You can't ask for more than that." In November 2021, Jack was voted into Cowboy Artists of America.
