Collection: Kaye Burian

Kaye is a long-time member of the American Quarter Horse Association and has always ridden an American Quarter Horse whether showing, working on her ranch or participating in rodeo. Kaye was honored with the 2013 American's Horse in Art Steel Dust Award. 

She has a Bachelor of Science in art and elementary education from Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota. She taught art for six years before turning to painting full-time. Kaye was awarded the coveted Alumni Fellow Award from Dickinson State University from the Department of Fine & Performing Arts in 2006.

Kaye works primarily in oils on canvas. Her subject matter relates to her ranch surroundings emphasizing the animals and scenes within them. Her work is represented by The Capital Gallery in Bismarck, North Dakota and The Capital Gallery West in Medora, North Dakota.
