Collection: Maria D’Angelo

Maria D’Angelo is most recognized for her ability to capture the horse on paper. She has had a love for horses since she was a child and attempts to capture their souls in her art.

Maria creates her realistic pencil and colored pencil drawings on hot press watercolor panels and then protects them with a special clear coating so that they can be framed without glass.

She has been drawing since she was old enough to pick up a pencil and has honed her craft for many years. She has expanded her skills and continues to grow under the mentorship of acclaimed artist, Krystii Melaine.

Maria is an associate member of Women Artists of the West and a signature member of the American Women Artists. Her artwork has been exhibited in several shows and most recently won awards at the Women Artists of the West 52nd annual East Meets West National exhibition, receiving the People’s Choice and Art of the West magazine awards. Maria’s artwork is represented in The Marshall Gallery and Mountain Trails Gallery in Arizona, Going to the Sun Gallery in Montana and Legends of the West Fine Art in New Mexico.
