Collection: Maria D’Angelo

“To me there is no creature more beautiful than the horse. From their large, soulful eyes, to the powerful and delicate lines of their bodies, to the elegance in which they move, I have been inspired by the beauty of these exquisite animals for as long as I can remember.”

Although Maria draws and paints many different subjects, she is most recognized for her ability to capture the horse on paper. She often says she was born with a pencil in her hand, and she has honed that craft for many years.

Maria creates her drawings on hot press watercolor panels and protects them with a clear coating so they can be framed without glass. Her work appears in galleries, museums, and shows across the country. She also happily accepts commission work.
